Human proteins interact with viral proteins

Understanding the mechanisms of viral infectious diseases remains great challenge. Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) provide the interface between a virus and host cells. HVPPI (Human-Virus Protein-Protein Interactions) provide a comprehensively annotated human-virus protein interactions as well as online tools for functional analysis of PPIs. Currently, HVPPI included 27293 experimentally validated human-virus PPIs, covering 8 virus families, 140 virus proteins and 6059 human proteins. Furthermore, numbers of tools were provided to visualized the PPIs or function predictions.
