NSDNA:The Nervous System Disease NcRNAome Atlas,is a manually curated database that provides comprehensive experimentally supported associations between Nervous System Diseases (NSDs) and ncRNAs. The current version of NSDNA documents 26128 associations between 144 NSDs and 8736 ncRNAs in 11 species, curated from 1410 articles.

Nervous System Diseases (NSDs) are a group of diseases that affect the central and peripheral nervous systems and that include disorders of the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, the autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junctions, and muscles.

Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) are a family of functional RNA molecules that include miRNAs, lncRNAs, siRNAs, snoRNAs, and piRNAs, among others. Evidence suggests ncRNAs contribute to the progression of a wide variety of NSDs.

What Can Users Do in NSDNA?

-Browse the experimentally supported ncRNA-NSD association data;

-Search ncRNA-NSD associations by ncRNA/species/disease/tissue;

-Link NSD and ncRNA associated databases;

-Download all experimentally supported ncRNA-NSD association data;

-Submit novel entries into the NSDNA database.

Using NSDNA for Your Research

-Investigate the relationship between ncRNA and NSD;

-Explore the functions and molecular mechanisms of ncRNA in NSD;

-Decipher ncRNA-mediated NSD regulatory networks;

-Identify novel NSD biomarkers and drug targets.
