NSDNA:The Nervous System Disease NcRNAome Atlas,is a manually curated database that provides comprehensive experimentally supported associations between Nervous System Diseases (NSDs) and ncRNAs. The current version of NSDNA documents 26128 associations between 144 NSDs and 8736 ncRNAs in 11 species, curated from 1410 articles.
Nervous System Diseases (NSDs) are a group of diseases that affect the central and peripheral nervous systems and that include disorders of the brain, spinal cord, cranial nerves, peripheral nerves, nerve roots, the autonomic nervous system, neuromuscular junctions, and muscles.
Noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) are a family of functional RNA molecules that include miRNAs, lncRNAs, siRNAs, snoRNAs, and piRNAs, among others. Evidence suggests ncRNAs contribute to the progression of a wide variety of NSDs.
