Functional description
We further performed a luciferase screening and observed that circHIPK3 could bind to multiple miRNAs, including a well-known tumor suppressor miRNA miR-124.Compared with the control RNA, 9 miRNAs (miR-124, miR-152, miR-193a, miR-29a, miR-29b, miR-338, miR-379, miR-584 and miR-654) out of the 424 miRNAs were able to reduce the luciferase reporter activities by at least 30%.
