Functional description
Collectively, this study highlights a role of HOTAIR in the stemness maintenance of OCSCs. HOTAIR could serve as a miR-206 sponge, causing the up-regulated expression of TBX3 to promote the stemness of OCSCs. Identification of the HOTAIR/miR-206/TBX3 axis provides new insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation and maintenance of OCSCs, which might help to improve lncRNA-targeted diagnosis and treatment strategies for ovarian cancer.
