Increasing evidences show that both bacteria and viruses encode microbial antigens that are molecular mimics of tumour antigens. The burgeoning field of intratumoural microbiome research has been driven by advances in high-throughput detection technologies. Notably, mass spectrometry (MS) technology enables the direct identification of immune epitopes from microbiota, amplifying host immunopeptidome in cancers. Here, we proposed MicroEpitope for providing or visualizing the atlas of HLA-presented immune epitopes derived from cancer microbiomes.
