Lnc2Cancer, is a manually curated database that provides comprehensive experimentally supported associations between lncRNA and human cancer. The current version of Lnc2Cancer documents 1,488 entries of associations between 666 human lncRNAs and 97 human cancers through review of more than 2,000 published papers.

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are a class of transcribed RNA molecules that have a length >200 nucleotides that do not encode proteins. To date, dysregulation of lncRNAs have been associated with a variety of human diseases, including cancer.

Cancer, also known as malignant tumor or malignant neoplasm, is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body.
