Step 1: Enter an OMIM ID of a disease.

Input an OMIM ID of a disease. For example: 137800 (glioblastoma). Here, 5080 OMIM IDs from MimMiner (van Driel et al. 2006) can be submitted, and the corresponding disease name of an OMIM ID can be obtained from http://omim.org/.

Step 2: Parameter selection.

CHNmiRD has three parameters (alpha, lambda and eta). The parameter alpha is the restart probability of the walker returning to the seed node in random walk with restart algorithom. The closer the value of alpha is to 0, the more global the view observed. The parameter lambda is the jumping probability, that is, the probability of jumping from the integrated multigraph MFSN to the DPN or vice versa. The parameter eta weighs the importance of the integrated multigraph MFSN and DPN. If eta is closer to 1, more importance is give to DPN than to the integrated multigraph MFSN.

(1) Choose an appropriate parameter for alpha (range from 0 to 1).

(2) Choose an appropriate parameter for lambda (range from 0 to 1).

(3) Choose an appropriate parameter for eta (range from 0 to 1).
