The usage tutorial
Two tools including
‘lncSim’,
and
‘lncDis’,
are provided in our system. The details about the usage of these two tools are described as follows.
1. An example for using ‘lncSim’.
The following figure shows the process of searching similar lncRNAs of
‘A2M-AS1’ or searching similarity between ‘A2M-AS1’ and ‘AC008280.5’.
The input page
http://www.bio-bigdata.com/IntNetLncSim/lncsim.jsp.
In the input page, users can input a lncRNA name, such as ‘KLF7-IT1’,
to search potential associated diseases of it. Alternatively,
users can input a disease name, such as ‘liver cancer’, to search potential associated lncRNAs of it.
The result pages
After submitting a lncRNA name ‘KLF7-IT1’, the potential associated diseases
could be listed in descending order of association score. The first column is
the rank of score. The second and the third columns represent the inputted lncRNA and
its potential associated diseases, respectively. The last column is the association score
between ‘KLF7-IT1’ and the disease in this line. All the results can be downloaded
from the page.
