| Mechanism/Pathway | Interleukin-1β( IL-1β) is a strong proinflammatory cytokine produced abundantly in acute and chronic active lesions of multiple sclerosis MS. The activity of IL-1 can be inhibited by IL-1 receptor antagonist IL-1RA ,which binds the IL-1 receptor but does not transmit the agonist signal. |
