MSGD is a comprehensive database containing all available gene knowledge related to multiple sclerosis, including variants, mRNA, protein, knockout, drug targets, and high-throughput data. This database is developed through manual extraction and will be updated manually as new data becomes available. MSGD contains 6,255 differential entries collected from 5,485 published articles, encompassing 3,274 variants, 1175 mRNA data, 418 protein information, 306 gene knockout data, 612 drug target details, and 463 high-throughput information.
For the Home interface, users can quickly access our dataset by the quick search toolbar and click on the diagrams to browse the database by different data type. For the Search interface, we provide query results for (i) details of variants, (ii) regulation of mRNA level, (iii) regulation of protein level, (iv) drug information, (v) knockout information, (vi) high-throughput data. For the Browse interface, users have access to the dataset based on different classifications, including data type and species. By clicking on each gene, users can obtain all the basic information about the gene. For the Analysis interface, users have access to all the analyses of the MSGD database: (i) Data statistic; (ii) Function analysis; (iii) Network analysis; (iv) Distribution of variants. For the Submit interface, users are able to submit their data about multiple sclerosis.
