| Result | rs1501299 (+276G>T) polymorphism in the second exon of ADIPOQ gene also showed a significant association with MS susceptibility in male patients.In fact, the frequency of rs1501299 intermediate+low adiponectin producer genotypes (TG+GG) and low adiponectin producer allele (rs1501299G) were significantly higher in male patients compared to male controls. |
