| Detail Description | A comparison of miRNA expression levels in focal and non-focal tissue identified 16 miRNAs showing an unadjusted p-value<0.05: hsa-miR-212-3p, hsa-miR-221-3p, hsa-miR-99b-3p, hsa-miR-335-5p, hsa-miR-495, hsa-miR-103a-3p, hsa-miR-129-1-3p, hsa-miR-504-5p, hsa-miR-129-2-3p, hsa-let-7a-5p, hsa-let-7e-5p, hsa-miR-592 were down-regulated and hsa-miR-34c-5p, hsa-miR-184, hsa-miR-27a-3p and hsa-miR-494-3p were upregulated in focal compared to non-focal tissue.Reporter gene assays found the strongest interference between miRNA and its mRNA target sequence for hsa-miR-212-3p and SOX11. |
