| Detail Description | Results showed that in all grades of astrocytoma, the expression of the microRNAs was always lower in comparison to that of the normal brain tissue. In GIV, the most widely and statistically significant (p<0.0001) downregulated miRNAs were miR-128-1 with an expression value of 0.0081±0.0027 (1,469-fold) and miR-124-3p at 0.0099±0.002 (407-fold) (p<0.0001, in both cases); while the expression of miR-221-3p was 0.0075±0.001 (144 times less in GIV tumors) (p<0.0029). |
