| Detail Description | we extracted total RNA from 7 tumor and 7 normal samples in our diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas (DIPGs) cohort and performed RTPCR using miR129-2 primers. We detected downregulation of miR129-2 in 85.7% (6 of 7) of DIPG tumors compared to normal tissue.co-expression of Luc-3’UTR and miR129-2 results in significant downregulation of luciferase expression as compared to cells transfected with luc-3’UTR vector alone.We used PDGFB mouse cells and show that treatment with 5-Azacytidine results in a significant downregulation of NG2 expression in these as compared to untreated cells. |
