| Detail Description | Our results indicated that miR-181 levels were increased with aging in the hippocampus and down-regulated in the AD mouse model. The down-regulation of miR-181c leads to the de-repression of its target gene, crmp2, at the posttranscriptional level, which might play a role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. |
